I received this UPS price adjustment for a UPS Ground label printed through Ebay.
Per the price adjustment information, the "billable weight by carrier" is the same as the weight I entered -- 5 lbs. So I don't understand why the price was increased by more than 50%.
Even worse, when I calculate the price for another label for the same sale -- with the same dimensions and a weight of 5 lbs -- the cost is $6.78, lower than what I was originally charged (before the price adjustment).
I wrote Ebay customer service (concierge) and received an unhelpful response, stating that the billable weight was probably different than the weight I reported. That doesn't make sense because the price adjustment information says the actual weight and billable weight are the same.
Is there a way to make sense of this?
