I scheduled a pickup from my house and like usual the carrier took it without scanning. Usually it gets scanned when it hits a hub. However this time it's been 6 days without any scans and it's a first class package so it should've been delivered by now. What do I do?

You do nothing at the moment ... if the package is returned, or if the buyer complains, then you need to take some action. Otherwise, focus on the good things of life.

I like communication. Useful communication. If I notice my buyer's item isn't being tracked, I like the buyer to become aware I am aware. If you have a buyer who doesn't care, emailing is just "an extra." However, if you have a buyer who is checking, you win favor by being proactive.
Do I email on every potential issue? Absolutely not. There is a difference between being proactive and creating paranoia.
