I use a thermal label printer
Yesterday the labels were not loading to print and today the options are all changed.....
I could rotate and set borders to none and there were several other options.
Now, none of that exists.
Where my labels were CLEAN
now, I have to go through a 10 step process to print my labels through paint or photoshop and they are blurry and not CLEAN.
I've tried Chrome (my usual), internet explorer and firefox.
What is the problem?
Is there a way to return the settings to their normal?

When the labels do print they now have a delivery date printed on them which is annoying on its own they then say "The delivery date is an estimate and not guaranteed and will vary depending on mail delivery disruptions and high volume holiday shipping times" but only on the sellers online label record. It would be nice if the buyer got the same message because they are the ones who might not be aware that it isnt guaranteed and it would help clear up alot of confusion that really didn't need to be started in the first place.

I got a shock when I printed a label today and wondered if it was just something affecting me, but I see it is widespread. I use pre-scored adhesive-backed labels, and had figured out exactly what margins to specify to make the label print in approximately the right position. Today I couldn't do any of that, but fortunately the label printed on the actual label, except for the left line that fell off the edge. I hope this is temporary! I use Google Chrome.

Somebody really screwed this up. I have been printing on the same peel and stick labels for over a year and I have 15,000 of them in stock. I use the Chrome browser which allows me to adjust both the image size and the margins so that the label prints correctly in the 'peel off' portion and the the Instructions and Online Label Record print on the remainder.
Since today I cannot adjust the margins at all. I know this is not a Chrome issue because I Can adjust the margins when printing other web pages.
I'm a software developer myself and I can tell you exactly what this is. Either some 'business analyst' was assigned to 'fix' some issue with the label printing and not understanding their customers actual business needs decided to 'fix' some things which didn't need fixing, OR some junior 'programmer' was assigned to implement the fix and unfortunately slammed the update into production before any REAL testing was done. They don't really know what they are doing, that's why they roll out these kinds of changes on Friday night. They figure they will have the whole weekend to get it fixed before the bulk of the eBay sellers are impacted. I have 30 years of experience as a developer, analyst, and team leader and I have seen this hhind of thing hundreds of times.
If eBay management were smart, they would recruit about 100 actual eBay sellers and have them use a TEST version of ebay.com for their actuall selling. Those sellers would have a reporting interface that allows them to accurately report any problems with changes to the website. In return they would receive a big discount on their seller fees.
-- Just got a call back from customer support in the Philippines. Hopefully the nice lady will report this accurately to tech support.
Hey eBay: How about a menu selection where the users can send a message directly to customer support?

This all took me by surprise this morning when I printed my 3rd label of the day. The first two were normal, the third one;
#a. would not print out when I clicked print, eventually seeing it wouldn't ever print I save it to docs and printed.
#b. it is larger and sideways, my labels have been "portrait" and I had it figured how to print 4 on a page thus saving ink and paper. Can't do that now AND whether I select "landscape or portrait"... it is still "landscape".
#c. it prints 2 copies every time! Yes, I cafefully checked my setting and I have it on (1) copy. I know of no way to cope except to only load one sheet at a time. What a pain.
***raising my hand really high - I volunteer to be a recruit! I will test changes from an actul seller point of view and report.

It seems they changed labels from an image format to a pdf format.
If I set now pdf labels size to 100%, labels' size are smaller than they used to be. I am not sure if that affects scan of new labels. I remember I heard that USPS system sometimes doesn't read smaller labels well.

Same experience with the labels and I agree with kmax52, I'm an IT manager / Systems engineer and we have an entire test team dedicated to testing any changes to be put into production. I'd expect a company as large as ebay to have proper change management in place and procedures in place to roll out any changes that would impact the end users experience. They better fix this issue asap as i'm sure there are alot of us that printed out labels on paper today and had to tape them to our envelopes/packages. Not a happy seller this weekend at ebay 😞
