Well, I finally did it

I actually listed something fresh, not just ended and did sell similar.  The listing photos looks like a pile of crap per usual, but at least it's out there lol

This is the first thing I've listed since June of 2022.  😂

Yes, it does, but finding the time to list anything has been near impossible, and when I do have the time I just don't have the gumption lol

One of these days I'll get myself organized enough to list some of this stuff I have, and I have PLENTY 🙄

Small goals. List another new item later this week. If that gets done, then next week try for another 2 or even 3 items. Build up until the motivation kicks back in. In the meantime, listing fresh stuff will give you a search boost.

Getting in focus for photos of writing can be a challenge.

Cover pics are fine. Some others..............  I agree with you 😁

I would redo or remove some of them. They detract from the listing.

Does it really give a boost in search?

I have always thought it seemed to increase sales because perhaps one or some of the new items might sell to supplement some of the older items that sell and that naturally looks like an increase in sales.

Yes. Especially if you list several items in the same category. Anything you have listed in that category will get a boost.

I listed 140 new to my store items from September 23rd - October 31st. Mostly all in the same basic categories I always use. I am not having a terrible month but down 42% over the last 31 days. 

I was expecting better but it has been slow the last 2 weeks as I finished up sorting thru and listing from 4 pallets of items........ what a whoopin'.
