From my 2022 1099K form I get $758.03 for the month of January 2022. Yet on the Detailed Statement for January 2022 is $523.00. How did eBay arrive to the $758.03 from there? I'm missing some data. I'm sure this is a 'stupid' question. But I can't seem to find that $235.03 cents added to the $523.00. That went into my 1099K in 2022.

The total on the 1099-K includes the buyer's total payment for the item and shipping , before and deductions such as eBay fees, returns, etc.

Just throwing out a possibility...
Did you have a sale either near the end of the month or from the previous month that may have been posted in January? Sale amount does not always line up with processed/payout amount dates.....
ooops *****slaps head
the 1099 amount is the total sales amounts processed on your behalf...
the number you are comparing it to is the "NET" (after fees, etc.....)

I wonder why the Monthly statement cannot reflect the actual Total for the Monthly Inclusion in the 1099K. That would seem to be an important Number, Monthly.
Indeed, My State Tax Board (CA.Gov) Online is now demanding Quarterly payment for Taxes starting This Year, 2024, making that $758.03 total for January 2022 something that I need each month (to calculate what I owe the State/Federal). Of course I'm thinking 2024 January through March for the Tax Payment to the Angry Tax Man!
Can't eBay add the correct GROSS to the monthly Statement? Could it be that difficult to put it in there? I mean this isn't the CIA is it?
Instead I'll have to hunt all this down! I just haven't done that yet. I mean I didn't know I had to Work for eBay as well as myself. Can't it be like Microsoft Windows, automatic?
