Sale converted to local pick up after seller bought with shipping

We had negotiated a local pick up with buyer and shipping was still charged on purchase.  We successfully refunded shipping to buyer, but how do we mark the item as delivered since Ebay wants me to ship? We are delivering in person  tomorrow.

You cannot mark item as "delivered" because item was never shipped (only tracking# can prove item was delivered).   Unfortunately, you will get a "defect on your account" for not shipping item.   I doubt that EBAY will release money to you because you have "no proof" that customer got item.

You should have revised your listing to allow "local pickup" before your customer made the purchase.   When you do that you get QR code to prove item was picked up.

Customer could ask for "full refund" and say they never received item (you have no proof otherwise).

I would cancel transaction as problem with buyers address. 

Relist with local pickup only for the buyer to repurchase.
