I have an item for sale Not with make an offer.
”Buyer” emails saying she’ll pay 💰 $300. Less & asks 4 questions.
I email back the price here is the price, no offers available.
She emails back, “answer my questions!”
Normally in 21 years here, I’d bend over backwards to answer all her questions to her satisfaction but I felt she was too cute offering me $300. Less than the price & then asking 4 questions. Then reasking the 4 questions
So I can live without this sale now!
Have enough experience selling here to know I don’t want a problem buyer.
Maybe I could have made a sale, maybe not!

An eBay seller can choose to accept an offer, or not.
An eBay seller can choose to answer a question, or not.
I would have answered the questions and politely declined the offer.
In most cases when I do that, the buyer pays full price and the sale always goes fine.
But if your experience tells you otherwise, no one here knows your business like you do.
