 My sales are down 93.1% in the last 31 Days.....something is seriously wrong with Ebay

Probably 1 of 3 things.

#1. Everything desirable and priced correctly in your store has sold and all that is left is many years of mistakes. I don't know enough about your specialty to judge that.

2. Your competitors have recently undercut your prices or outpromoted you.

3. Most of your sales were click throughs from Google shopping where ebay has stopped spending ad dollars recently.

I'll add one possibility to the list from @onefootflippers  which is that the weather might be affecting your customers. I am going to guess that machine shops are your customers, and they tend to be small and subject to interruption when they are hit by snow and ice.

Looked at one of your listings and found the same item on another site for less then half of what you're asking, so why not buy from the other site.

Not for 31 days...and again, I've been doing this for over 20 years.....My customers just don't shut their operations down for 31 days because of weather....is it because of Ebay dropping Google click throughs, that's hard for me to believe......but if it is, it's still on Ebay !

I'm not the cheapest in Ebay world sales, on all my items......are you ? ..you have to take into account the location you're buying from, shipping time, feedback, cost of shipping, and 100% guarantee satisfaction...there's a lot to consider when buying on Ebay.....Feedback is #1.. I look at when buying, along with location ....doesn't help to buy something from China, when you need it in a couple of days

In any case, there is someone else on another e-commerce site that is selling all the Kennametal items you carry for cheaper.  Some Jeff guy runs the site I'm talking about, so I would look into your pricing on the Kennametal items.

I am not personally questioning your competency, but length of time on ebay does not always equal expertise. In fact some of the worst stores I have ever seen have been from 20+ year members.  Most of the people who come in here with "My sales died" threads are 20 year members.

I don't actually see any red flags in your store other than perhaps a few strangely low shipping prices that are possibly just things you are shipping as flats or as nonmachinable with stamps.

It appears that you are largely selling in a few categories and those categories seem to have an average sell through rate of around 36 months or 3 years. Your sell through rate is at 47.4 months (4 years). This is definitely underperforming what is average for your categories.  So something is definitely off here. 

Most competent specialist one man operations significantly overperform for their categories. This is due to their merchandise knowledge and not having any bad decisions coming from higher up as can happen to the ebay division of a retailer with their own site or brick and mortar.

So, there is some combination of your items, prices, titles, and promotions are causing you to significantly underperform your categories.  If you were already hanging out at the bottom half of performance in your categories it doesn't take much of a business drop off or increase in competition to almost completely shut your sales down.

lol....I sell more than Kennametal name brand items. and I have never been the cheapest seller of my products on Ebay in my category...that has never stopped my sales before. again, I've been doing this for over 20 years as a power seller, and now as a top rated seller....it's not like I just fell out of bed and hit my head, and don't know what I'm doing anymore !

Could be more buyers are now  researching price before purchasing, than in the past.

If something was wrong with ebay wouldn't it effect your competition as well? Your competition is outperforming you. It can't JUST be ebay.

What I've been saying is Ebay is not a light switch......your sales can bleed off due to many reasons (I understand all that)...but your sales don't all of a sudden turn off for 31 days, like the light switch....it's impossible !.....what I do get from these message boards, is it's always the sellers fault.....Ebay is and always will be blameless !

Your titles seem very short and maybe you're missing a lot of important keywords. Maybe eBay changed the way search works and you're not showing up in the results like you were before.

I think it has a lot to do with the time of year. Were a month from Christmas and all those bills are due. Then as soon as you make your payments you get to do your taxes. It will get better once people have a chance to get caught up. Hope your sales pick up.
