I'm familiar with the time when an item ended, you had to manually re-list it, at which point, I would usually lower the price, or offer free shipping. Since we now have the option to re-list automatically up to 3 times, is there a way to future-date such changes if we wish to? If not, what would be the best way to go about lowering the price for an item that is to be auto re-listed? Thank you.

If you have to keep relisting items, why not list a s a fixed price and list it once?
When it relist, edit the listing before any bids are made.

It's an interesting thought. I always figured that since the last minutes of the auction are typically the hottest times, the auction format was more appealing as a result. I have also listed fixed price in the past, which I'm not opposed to.
I guess that ultimately for me, a 5-day expiration on a listing without bids has always been a good indication for me that maybe I need to keep lowering the price down slightly, until the item sells.
