Final Value Fees on Shipping

I think this has been changed a few times so I don't really know what the current policy is. I saw the help page http://pages.ebay.com/help/sell/insertion-fee.html#fvf but it doesn't state what percent is charged. It used to be ebay charged more than FVF % on item price (to force sellers to offer free s/h).

It also states the only expedited s/h is one-day shipping. But my listings are free s/h and offer Priority, and Express Mail. If the buyer opts for Priority (not one-day shipping), do I have to pay FVF on the Priority shipping price?

Final Value Fees on Shipping

As far as I know, it's 10% of the total price charged to the buyer, no matter how it's broken out.

Of course the FVF is varied now by performance.

OK kids, time to get the Dodge loaded up again. I hear 'Poppy's By the Tree' calling. This trip might be a long one too.

The Final Value Fee rate is the same for the buyer's entire payment; 10% in most categories if you don't have a Store. That has been the policy since the FVF on S&H was introduced  in 2011.

Final Value Fees on Shipping

Final value fees is not charged to the buyer buy the seller. It is charged on cost of item and also the shiping cost.  It has not been changed but has been like that for many years. It is really a shame that E bay dose this. A lot say it is to keep the sellers shiping cost at resonable rates. But that is a joke. It is just that E bay is greedy. So they tax a postage that is already very high.
