Feedback discrepancy

Does anyone know why feedback numbers don't match in the new profile view?

Feedback discrepancy

Is it because the feedback total next to your name reflects unique users (you only get one per user, regardless of how many they leave for a transaction) whereas the All Feedback total is the total number of feedbacks received?

eBay only counts one per user per week.  So the feedback from a repeat buyer will be counted if the transactions are in different weeks (which eBay reckons is Monday through Sunday).

Adding to this:
Repeat is determined by order date, not FB left date. So a buyer can purchase from you today and again tomorrow. If they leave FB for both transactions it will only count as 1 in your FB count even if the FB are left weeks apart, but would count as more in the 'all FB' count.

If the buyer purchased one item on Sunday and another item the next day on Monday, that's across eBay's definition of two different calendar weeks, so the buyer could impact your FB score by +/- 2.

GLORIOUS!
