Adventure camp on the Nile

Having started and run an adventure based business on the banks ofthe Nile in Uganda I feel its time to step away from it. The camp has 130 beds, and is established to step in and keep running it.

Can anyone suggest what forum I could use to advertise its sale?

Sounds like you might be better off using a Real Estate company, and let them do your advertising.

I would advertise locally.  This is an US eBay community discussion forum and I doubt you'll get many takers from the US.

If you mean eBay forums, the forums here are for peer-to-peer discussions, so it is not appropriate to advertise your property on any of them.

Engage a real estate agent in Uganda who is familiar with the type of property you wish to sell and with the considerable complexities of international real estate transactions, since you seem interested in advertising the property abroad.  Perhaps start here:

eBay has a category for "businesses" for sale:


eBay>Business & Industrial>Websites & Businesses for Sale>Other Businesses for Sale

Unfortunately, it is populated with "products" for sale for the most part instead of actual businesses.  Products purchased in these categories have no buyer protection as far as I can tell, and likely why they are listed there. 

It is something else for you to explore, as well as Real Estate options (local or international) suggested by others.

Think you will need a real estate professional to market this property who knows all the ins and outs of selling it. 

Some countries have a lot of buyer requirements for foreign real estate sales. 

I don't know the real estate law in Uganda.

Never thought to ask, does the camp include real estate? 

Or is it just the business for sale?
