Account Suspended - 100% positive feedback. Please help.

Hello eBay community,

 

I recently joined eBay a couple of months ago and it has been nothing but a nightmare. I've experienced multiple payouts withheld due to an account review.  I submitted every document that requested, which started with my driver's license, then commercial invoices, and then a utility bill. 

 

The supposed violation is an MC011. After reaching out to eBay on facebook, they suggested shipping out all outstanding orders. I knew full well that an appeal may be denied and I may not receive my money, but I complied. I did over $5000k in the last 31 days, which I will not be seeing hit my bank account. eBay on facebook is no help as it's a specialist team involved in this. 

 

Through this whole process, I still don't know what policy was violated. It must be a very serious and severe policy that I violated. I have 100% positive feedback from my sellers. This whole process feels like an automated response. 

 

If the issue is the volume I'm selling as a new seller, why the suspension even after providing commercial invoices from Alibaba? My prices are well under the market as well. I'm providing a better product at a lesser price(more outlets, higher gauge wires, longer wires etc).

 

Issues my buyer faced:

1 shipment was lost at sea which resulted in delayed delivery to 3 buyers. I let my buyer know and gave them options, a refund or a discount on the order. They choose the latter.

Final question: Do I have any options here? Even legal? 

 

Side Note: I see this in one of the suspension emails 


"To provide a safe and secure environment for our members, we regularly screen account activity. While reviewing your eBay accounts, we observed activity that we would like to further verify. For this reason, we have placed limitations on your account(s) until we are able to gather some additional information from you.

Please log into your account to resolve the account limitations.

After we have gathered the necessary information, your account will be reviewed for reinstatement and you will be notified by email of our decision."

 

I've logged into my account, but where do I go to provide even more information? Do you want my birth chart now or what?

Just a quick thought... If you are very new to Ebay, you may not know about the internal rating system.  If you have shipments that are late, or delayed in shipping you will recieve a demerit. With the newness of the account, those strikes will add up quickly and that is why your account was suspended.  I'm pretty sure customer feedback has "something" to do with your overall account, but the big thing is getting shipments out on time and completing shipments.  I had my account (for a lack of a better term) put on "probabtion" this meant my listings weren't priortized and I couldn't use the advertising feature.  I got this back on track by making sure my shipment were sent out in a timely manner and my account was put back to how it was before.  Please look at all of your seller statistics and I'm sure it says somewhere in there that the percentage of your late or missing shipments is beyond the threshold of accpetablility.  (side note, the fact that you are  "....providing a better product at a lesser price (more outlets, higher gauge wires, longer wires etc)."  Isn't relevant to this conversation at all and shows that you need to do a little more research on what is important (hint, it's not marketing yourself better).... Having positive feedback has nothing to do with getting suspended, it has everything to do with seller performance. If your service metrics and dashboard are showing not as described cases and or items not received cases those wouldn't be good for a new seller. Plus selling items you can't provide receipts for would be another.

Well, it sounds like you have not yet received the "account is permanently suspended" notification so keep sending what eBay asks for and hope for the best.

 

If you have legit invoices from a manufacturer or authorized distributors, you might can pull this off.

 

If you do get a permanent suspension,  your money might end up in your states unclaimed property at some point,  perhaps 6 to 12 months.

Holy **bleep** nuts, I have a 40% late shipment rate. 1 transaction defect rate. Still above standard seller rating. I dug a bit deeper and all of my listing templates and they were set to same-business-day shipping. I have a dedicated day for shipping as I also do Amazon FBM.

 

So it's over then? I perma-banned over a small mistake? That's harsh. No "Hey you're late shipment rate is 40%, get it fixed"?

Did eBay ask for receipts of the multiple high dollar items you were selling? As a new seller, selling expensive items right from the start will call your account into question every time.  You sold a lot of graphics cards.  Did they ask where you sourced them from?

These US CS agents who are employed by eBay and been known to be very helpful.  Many positive posts on this forum concerning a positive outcome.  Reach out to them today and let them know your issue.

Not in this message, there was a link to upload documents in a previous message, which I complied. I believe the eBay suspension email was automated once the specialist team decided to deny my appeal.

I have commercial invoices, which I uploaded, but someone said a late shipment rate could be the reason, which I found out to be 40%. I had same day shipping set, which is my mistake. I have a dedicated shipment day because I also do Amazon FBM.

Yes, and I provided them with multiple commercial invoices and contracts between me and the manufacture from Alibaba. 99% of my items fall under $100 and only 2 sales ever occurred over $400. 

 

I sold 10-12 GPU's, which were used in my shop from Newegg. 1660 supers were sold for $85, and 2 3080's for $450.

 

Ebay for facebook said and I quote "we can no longer respond to questions regarding account suspension, although we may read it, we will not respond"
