How do people put the same car on two different item numbers and bids are at different prices?

Are they selling the whole car, or selling parts off the car? 

Item numbers?

Some sellers make a mistake and then try again with a new listing, not knowing how to end the original listing(s). We've seen this numerous times.

Yes, two different item numbers from same dealer. (seems Classicautoz) does this often., over a third of their cars.  I just checked and for selling classic cars on Ebay, they warn that nearly half of the ads are scams. Be very careful when buying one of these cars on Ebay as the sellers are not monitored.
