Thinking of using File Exchange & reading ebay's description led me to several questions:
1. clicking on File Error Codes Reference in ebay's description leads nowhere so questioned whether File Exchange still works
2. are users "warned" when codes or templates change
3. does ebay's statement elsewhere saying all communications moving to HTTPS affect sending CSV files
Thank you, Dan

The https requirement is only a reaction to new browser security that would prevent the browser from displaying mixed content. Uploading content is not a display issue, so there should be no change there.
However, because uploading through File Exchange means you will be providing the URLs of remotely hosted photos, there is a new question. Generally, eBay will rehost your transloaded photos and the security of your server connection is not part of the picture. But on some upload methods, if eBay's server can not fetch your photo from your host in a timely fashion, it may fall back to using your remote URL at the top of the listing. If that is still the case, eBay may require https on your transloads.
I am trying to get clarification and will post when I hear back, or perhaps @mypaymentstest can clarify.

Dan,
1) For error codes, click FileExchange>Instruction and Resources>File error codes reference or use this link - http://pages.ebay.com/file_exchange/SMP_errorcodes.html?id=1
Note...These codes are the most used. There are others. Repost here if you run into others.
2) No warnings of this nature. The good news is that these seldom change. eBay adds but usually keeps old templates and error codes the same.
3) So far there has been no change/info about this. I do not believe this is an issue. Same with images...no https is required.
