Have cleared "recently viewed items" in MyEbay, but they are still showing on the homepage. I have cleared my browser cache multiple times, restarted multiple times, and also cleared my temp folder.

What else can I try?

I made this document for issues with notifications of items that were only viewed but most applies to you too.

Also try using ccleaner, it's a free download that clears browser cache much better than the built in one.

#1 Clear recently viewed

On your pc you can remove the recently viewed items by going to My Ebay, upper right hand corner. Hover over it then click on Summary . Then on the left hand side of the screen click on recently viewed. Then on the right hand side of the screen click on clear all right above the pictures of the recently viewed items.

You can also clear recently viewed on the eBay apps.

#2 Clear browser history and cookies . I like ccleaner it's a free download. Do not pay for the upgraded version you do not need it for this.

I have found since I started doing the above regularly I no longer get notifications on the app of items I only viewed and have not even watched. I view a lot of items somedays when I help out here on the boards.
