Here is the sequence of events that lead to the problem. On a posting with multiple items available.
1) made obo offer.
2) decided to purchase full price. Clicked the buy now on the pending offer, paid.
3) obo accepted.
4) seller has to cancel OBO
5) needed to apply discount coupon.
6) seller agrees to cancel first when new order comes in.
7) app takes me to cancelled OBO to pay. Paid OBO, funds deducted.
😎 call center directs to buy another. Paid for full price item with coupon.
😎 seller cancels first full price item. Money refunded.
9) seller can not refund OBO since it shows cancelled.
So now I have both the 2nd and 3rd payments drafted from PayPal, and seemingly no way to get back the obo funds.
