I have seen many posts about inappropriate content showing up on eBay accounts from sponsored items due to my recently viewed items. One answer from eBay was back in 2021 stating that it was a bug and they are working on it. Apparently, it has not been fixed because I just got a mess of R-rated poster items for sale when the closest keyword I have used would have been "doll" because I used to own a doll and toy shop. I found a way to get rid of them (permanently I hope) by clearing all your "Recently Viewed". Hope that helps someone else. It shouldn't be showing up anyway.
