This is not an uncommon problem. I have just spent the last 30 minutes trying everything suggested on numerous websites, attempting to resolve this issue. Whether in Google Chrome, Microsoft Internet Explorer, or Microsoft Edge, it does not matter - I have tried , clearing everything, as instructed, from history to cache, to everything in between - yet after typing in my user name and password, eBay still loops back, right back to the beginning, to the “Sign In” window.
Finally, I went on the eBay community website. Thank you for noting that once there, I was indeed logged on. So, I inserted this website as a new short cut in my Favorites. Now I can get on eBay, and successfully go to where I want to, My Account, My eBay, etc.
But seriously, with all respect, . . . that is definitely not an answer to this ongoing problem.
