A buyer bought my listing that was over

I put my Lego Apollo up for auction and sold it  . I little while later I guess another person bought it some how and  I didn't use eBay for a while so I left the buyer for 2 weeks wondering where his Lego appollo was . I refunded him and the buyer left a bad review I don't blame them however  I would be mad too. But I feel like this could have been avoided if this glitch haven't had happened or is this my fault

You might've had auto relist on that auction for the Lego set the auto relist relists unsold auctions up to 8 times. The one that sold March 28 was relisted 3 times before it sold.  It's not a glitch.
