This is more just a VENT! that trying to get answers. We have really just given up on this ever getting fixed or even just neutered. Sorry, had to do that joke.
Short and sweet - ebay has been glitching our four accounts since the switch from PP to managed payment, and it either:
(one) deletes items from the unsold, active and even once from the scheduled list.
or
(two) just adds LONG sold items back to the active or unsold list to be sold again.
or the new ones -
(three) relists the 'old' price copy of anything we lower the price on. both copies listed at same time.
or
(four) relists the 'old format' copy - change from auction to 'with BIN' or auction to fixed price - again both copies listed at same time.
In today's newest ghost listing, ebay has both once lost [deleted] this listing a few months ago, and after it was recreated and then really sold, ebay then relisted it sometime after it sold and it sold once again yesterday. How nice of them.
For all four IDs it's something like 170? ghost listings and another 150+ for the disappearing listings in two years?
We have called and called and called and pointed out and they trace and backtrack and do this and do that and it's always 'us' doing this. That's the best they can come up with. "WE" must have forgotten that this account is only selling the dead guys one of each 45 collection and "WE" must have relisted from the sold page .... FOR THE 49th TIME! - So we're just five little morons and we keep on doing the same old boo boo once every two, three weeks. And just for the fun of it, delete listings left and right. AND we're doing it on four IDs. Boy are we dumb. How the hell do we even get the computer turned on.
Where do we find the time to screw up our ebay and still deal with our real customers in our real stores?
And the ghosts doesn't seem to count against our 250
