New Sealed DVD

Ebay buyer bought a brand new sealed dvd and they received dvd. Three weeks later they requested a return because they received thewrong dvd disc . I ask buyer to please send pictures but he said item has already been shipped for return. Is there instances that a different dvd can be placed in a new sealed dvd? I feel this a case of the switch-a-roo. Also, dvd wasn't a resealed, dvd had the white strip sealed with title on top of dvd case.

Years ago, I bought a music CD that had the wrong CD, so it can happen, probably not very often though.

Whatever they sent, you are going to be refunding.

Since they did not open a Not As Described case, refunding (whatever you receive) does not affect your Seller account.
Since they sent back the DVD on their own dime*, they saved you the price of a Return Shipping Label.

Respond with "I regret you are unhappy with your purchase, I will refund on arrival."

Then do it.

Not every transaction will go perfectly.

Any money you lose on the transaction is tax-deductible.

*Which makes me think they were telling the truth. Scammers are more likely to yell and scream.
