After a purchase, the seller became "No longer a registered user"

I ordered one item from a seller in Singapore and paid for it, however, even before the delivery dealine ends, the seller is marked as "No longer a registered user". Does this mean that this might be a fraud? Does eBay keep the money in its escrow account as long as the purchased item is not delivered yet? Thanks.
