Hey, all!
I have come across a weirdly varied assortment of sterling (925) jewelry lately with the mark wTs. As shown. The T usually comes across the top of the w and s. Rather than "sterling" the purity marks are (so far as I've seen) 925.
These pieces are often, but not always, animal forms. There are modernist and Navajo looking pieces marked with the same stamp, too. That's what's strange. It must be a ?distributor? Or a very prolific artist who wants to see if they can nail every genre...(oh, yeah, including elaborate art nouveau cuffs and necklaces) in the jewelry spectrum.
I've done the basic searches, and found many pieces, but cannot find anything else about the artist/artists, the place(s) of origin, etc.
Anyone who has ideas, please chime in.
I have faith in you wizards.

Hi Mae! Thank you for the nice kuddos on another post it's appreciated.
Can you post one example of this mark. Is the 3 initials enclosed in a cartouche?
A lot of times esp with N.A. jewelry you will see a large letter that may represent the town they are from, exp T may represent Taxco. ( sp) so it maybe beneficial to see the actual MM.
Thanks Silver

I don’t see any evidence that this is Watson though.
