Please Help Me ID the stone in these 18K Cufflinks

Hi..I can’t find my gem tester but this is set into 18K gold. Could it be emerald? Any help as soon as possible is appreciated.

Thanks,

@whimsiesandwishes

Hmmm very nice but I wouldn't label that as an Emerald. It's some stone in the rough but without a true Gemologist viewing, you would be wise just to state the color ie: Emerald color.

Top quality Emeralds can wholesale for over 10k.

    Colombia Emeralds are considered one of the most beautiful.  Emeralds are really just a Beryl stone, it's the impurities that create the color. Even the trace of iron in a Beryl can turn that stone into an aquamarine.

     So with all that said, to be on the safe side if selling, just reference the color. Best to you, Silver
