Who knows about vintage children's jewelry?

Was there a trend toward making perfectly made child sized costume jewelry back in the '60s and before? I sold a milk glass necklace a couple of years ago...toddler sized. Now I have a three row rhinestone bracelet that would fit my 2 year old granddaughter. Any insight into the child jewelry? It is the same quality as adult...not toy jewelry. Have any of you come across this?

I also have a child's bracelet and have sold a few vintage pieces.  I read a book about Liz Taylor who said that she collected jewelry even as a kid!
