Hi All,
I'm looking to buy some silver color clasps that won't tarnish. The title of an item I'm looking at has 'White K/Silver/Gold Plated'. The drop down options for color are: gold, silver, white k, gun black. I asked the seller, but I don't think they understand english very well. I asked:
What is white K? Is is white gold plated? Will it tarnish or rust?
They said, It's just white.
I then asked, What is the material, e.g. acrylic or paint?
They said, It's metal.
I asked the kind of metal and they said alloy.
Then, I said 'I understand that is the base metal, but what is white K?'
They said, 'It's white.'
Then I said, 'White is a color, not a material. Are you saying white k is just white metal and not white gold?'
They said, 'It's not'. .... then I gave up.
Is white k some marketing trick?
Thank you for listening,
Michele

I've never heard that term I tried to look it up and I see that it's some type of white metal alloy that's similar to stainless steel or looks like stainless steel I think it is the term they've come up with which is a little confusing
