Test for vulcanite?

I won an auction for a strand of matte black molded beads.  ( 251957626742 )  They are light weight and not colder than room temperature.  They make a black mark on unglazed pottery.  I'm wondering if they are vulcanite but I don't remember if that is what the black mark test indicates.  Thanks for your help!

Here is a little information for you:

An umbrella and a mind have a lot in common, they both function better when open.

Thank you, cool awsome and crow!

Both sites are very helpful.  These beads do seem to have a brownish tinge so I am going to go with vulcanite as I don't want to do any hot needle test, and I intend to keep them anyway.
