These two necklaces belonged to my husband's mother. My father-in-law traveled widely in the 1940s and 1950s and brought them to her. They are both 15 inches long and the red beads seem to be glass while the large white beads are probably ceramic. The filigree beads appear to be brass. Then there is the lamp work beads and the stacks of small disks that look like beads.
I have tried to get some idea of where they are from. Asian, perhaps? I would appreciate any info you might be able to provide.

I have no idea where they are from, but they are beautiful and clearly a lot of work went into them. I especially like the first one. I would keep researching!

Thank you so much! I really appreciate your comment. I have looked everywhere that I can think of. I am now wondering if they were bespoke pieces made in very small numbers.
