No name necklace, but pretty acrylic rhinestones.  Or so they seem anyway.  Odds are good it's mall jewelry or Chez Target, but it's nice and brightly gaudy.  I'm just wondering what to call the prismatic rhinestones.

I love the term prisim.  Do they have ridges? Prisim ribbed?  Rainbow?  I can see why you got this piece.

The tops are smooth.  I'd love to know how it was made.  The necklace turned up in an Ill Will jar lot or a big random pile I got a week earlier; it was one or the other.

I see a pattern, I think in the background.  I wonder if it is the type of foil that is used behind the acrylic.  I love the kaleidoscope reference.

I like kaleidoscope as a discriptive. The way the colours move reminds me of the vintage disc jewelry, like these stones were set with some similar backing.
