Help with this pendant? Marked Silver

The clasp is literally marked silver. The stone is fairly light, translucent.

I saw the pendant, but then went "ooh kitty" too.(LOL)   The pendant looks like smoky quartz and sterling.  The kitty looks like "pick me up and pet me".

Just the word, "Silver," is typically not an American mark.  Sterling yes, but Silver no.  You say it's stamped on the bale.  Any markings on the frame?  The stone could be smokey topaz, smokey quartz or smokey glass.  That's the color I see in my monitor.  Now let's see your kittehs.  My wooly bullies are waiting with as much excitement as they can muster!
