Doing this when I remember rather than when I'm supposed to. Please keep the pictures smaller to speed loading, phones and dialup don't like the big ones, and as always no live auctions.
Probably precious metal claw, with rhinestones and synthetic opal.
Dichroic glass. There's a third "stone" on each earring.

I thought you were going to say Sapphiret, ev! That's what I thought before I read they are dichroic glass . Nice eye candy!
I agree with the three of you. I'm not a hot weather person at all. I'm going to retire to Alaska and be a penguin instead of Florida and be a snowbird! Here are a couple jools to cool you off.

This was interesting. This is the Sarah Coventry "Pearl Flight" set from I believe the 50's. I went to photograph the set and noticed the earrings were the same size as the brooch. I also noticed there were two sets of clips on the back of them. From looking at other pictures of this set, the earrings were always smaller. I thought someone may have performed some bizarre modification but could find no areas where the pin may have been removed. They looked like they were made that way on purpose. I then tried clipping the larger clip to the bottom of my ear and the smaller one to the cartilage area, and they fit perfectly. I did a little deeper digging and found another pair that are called ear cuffs. Excuse my poor, fuzzy selfie, but wanted to show how nicely they fit .

Dream, i also thought those earrings of Ev's looked like saphiret until I read the caption.
Here's a little something I got for myself recently.
Georg Jensen sterling bracelet. Sadly missing a link, thus I could afford it!
Pair of Brutalist cufflinks made by Quebec designer Gilles Vidal, went to a lovely new home last week.
Not jewelry but these are quite fun. Oil paintings that were left on the curb last week. I was out walking and noticed a whole pile of rather interesting looking paintings. The family were moving out and told me I could take them.
Here's a nice Canadian winter scene to cool us all down.
This one is my favourite. I love the muted colours.

Arlene, I always love the stuff you find, and I fully expect to see you on some Canadian version of Antiques Roadshow having that painting appraised for $100,000!

Sandy, love the plume agate ring, and you go ahead and keep those earrings. We won't tell anybody .

Thanks so much, blue. I went from disappointed to happy to find out the earrings didn't have to be relegated to the "Land of Misfit Jewelry." Daring... I like that!

I think you're the pearl magnet of this group, Marko! Pretty earrings, all!

LOL Dream, no chance of being on Canadian Pickers I fear. Although that second painting is by a fairly good artist, Maurice Hall Haycock. But quite a few zeroes need to be lobbed off the $100 000 .
