Chanel trousers - fake?

Hello! New to selling previously worn apparel. Came across these gorgeous trousers but how can I tell if they’re fake?

I’m not a Chanel expert but certainly knowledgeable and they look just fine to me and are from 1998.  I would personally  buy them without hesitation.
