Purchased this red Coach 9086 tote.  Hoping to confirm it's authentic. Thanks in advance for information.

I'm sorry but it's fake. If you bought online, file a SNAD dispute.

If you want an example of one of the problems, compare the creed/serial number/font of your bag (on left) to the creed from a genuine bag of the same style your bag is copying.

Thank you so much for sharing your expertise. This is the second bag I posted here. Both purchased at seperate times at the same "for profit" thrift shop. Sad.

Just so you know, whether non-profit or for profit, thrift shops, consignment stores, yard sales or online sellers are prohibited from selling fakes. It's against the law, PERIOD. It doesn't matter when they advertised as fake, disclaimed knowledge of authenticity or incorrectly sold as authentic.

Why not? What have you got to lose unless the store has a no return/refund policy.

Just say you had it authenticated and leave it at that.

Absolutely! I went back to see the other item you bought from them and it, too is fake!

This is the thread showing the other fake:

You should, or report them to law enforcement. Selling fakes is against the law in most countries.

Both of the two bags confirmed as fakes here were from the same for profit thrift shop. I waited until the bags went on sale with hopes to resell on Ebay  (I won't do that now).  The original price of each was $79.99 in their "boutique" section. I really feel taken!
