Help Identify Artist : Carving with Signature - Old Man Face

I've searched for quite a bit, but have found no clues to this siganture and the artist. The piece feels like it is made of a durable type of sandstone. There is a clear signature, but I have yet to find whose it is. I'd appreciate any assistance.
