Wondering if someone can make out the signature on this vintage photograph

Where is the signature supposed to be?  I cannot see a signature in either one of the two photos you posted.

If it's any help, it looks like salt water! I see something on the lower left that looks to be a sig.

When I expand the lower photo, I can begin to see the top loops of what appears to be a signature on the lower right edge; but your blow-up photo of the main photo cuts off the bulk of the signature!

Could you just shoot a photo of the lower right portion of the photo, including the area below the margin?

Not sure if this qualifies as a forum glitch, but I was able to view the full images with the signature on a phone but not on desktop.

Interesting.  I use a desktop.  Like DavyCrockett, when I clicked on the second photo, I could see a bit of the mat with the tops of a couple of letters, but that was all I could see.
