Help with signature on 80's Italian hand painted tin jar

I need a little help with a signature on 80's Italian hand painted tin jar. The tin jar is large - 16 1/2" tall with lid and signed on the side.

Any help would be great and thank you.

Are you referring to what looks pretty clearly to be "By Martini"?

I  think  those scribbles above "By Martini" are a signature, though I can't make heads nor tails of it.

That crossed my mind but figured I'd check with OP.   4th character from the left  is smeared, which is odd.
