I came across this lamp at a thrift store. I don't know if this is glass over the images or how to describe it to learn more about it. I would say it's metal. It was on a square brass base. Possibly a vase turned into a lamp? Just intrigued as I am always interested in older lamps but when there are no marks not sure how to proceed to learn more. Any help appreciated, thank you.
Without seeing the entire lamp (including the bottom of the base, the socket, and the and wiring, which all give clues to age) it's nearly impossible to say anything about the lamp, or whether or not it might be a vase converstion.
