They look like silverplate marks and yes, take some in-sharp focus pictures.! They may look in-focus to the OP because they have the object in-hand but not to us who are looking at bad pictures.
Dimensions? Some idea of how large is always helpful when asking for help in identifying an object. A 25 cent piece is useful for small objects, a soda can for larger objects.
