HI  ALL ~~  any  ID  on  this  cutie.,...says  1966  JAPAN    matell on  butt  1966

she  looks  a little  tan  to  me...maybe  not

and  she  looks  young  compared  to most  barbies (  maybe  not)  is  she a  barbie  of  friend  of  barbie?  thanks    all !   PS  anyone  know  what she  wore  originaly  at  time of sale?

Malibu Francie?  She seems to have the Francie smile.  She would have come with a pink top and red shorts.

That's Malibu Francie. She came out in 1971.  The reason for the 1966 date is that is the year the twist-n-turn waist was patented.  A lot of Barbies will have the 1966 date on them even though the actual date may be years later. It gets confusing that way.
