My buyer contacted me today and said she thought the usage of the handles of the handbag had was more than she had realized and she wanted some of her money refunded or she would return the item. I didn't know that was even possible but we agreed on a price but I cannot figure out how to refund part of the price and is that an acceptable way of doing business?

@lyre_1438 You can say return for refund and pay return shipping and then refund the buyer 100%.
OR issue a partial refund if that's better for your bottom line.
To issue a partial refund go to the sold listing on this page> https://www.ebay.com/sh/ord/?filter=status:ALL_ORDERS select send refund from the drop down menu next to the item> next page select reason> other. Then enter the amount you wish to refund and send.
eBay refunds the sales tax portion and you get sellers fees back on the portion you refund.
