ebay global shipping slowness

I bought something from England with eBay shipping. It's been a days drive from me in Utah for 4 days I am in Montana. Since the guaranty day for delivery 5 days from now they are not going to even give it to USPS and deliver it early and that's pure eBay laziness and bad customer service and you can't even talk to anyone from eBay they suck compared to their beginning, but it was under better ownership, and you could chat or talk to someone.

I am trying to understand the question. So far, it sounds like you will be away from home for 5 days and won't be at home when the package arrives. 

I am also guessing that tracking shows the item has crossed the Atlantic and is at a distribution hub in the US, and has not been released to USPS for domestic delivery. 

Beyond that, I am confused.
