Vanilla Gift Cards

Is it true that now all or almost all Vanilla MasterCard, visa, or American Express will not work on this site anymore? I even tried to use my visa card to buy on TCG card site to buy cards and that site won't register or accept the card. I even tried another random site. What happened t=with all vanilla cards? Did the company go down, hacked? It seemed the card worked at gas stations and stores, but not online anymore.

Does anyone have any alternative ways to buy if Vanilla cards won't work on the internet anymore?

As far as I can tell, eBay has not said anything one way or the other. Lots of folks started complaining about problems using those prepaid cards starting in July 2023.
