I made a $3 purchase with free shipping included. Now it's suddenly over $10.
It reads like this:
2 items: $3.00
Shipping: free
Tax: $0.82
Charges: $7.00
I've never seen that last line before. Ebay seems to be charging me more than twice the purchase cost without explanation. I'm buying these items to flip for a small profit and I don't think a profit after the extra charge.

@drhod_32 Were the items $3 each? That would come to 6.82
Not sure where the $7 is coming from.
Here's how to contact eBay customer service and have them take a look at the sale:
eBay agents are working from home so you have to request a call back or live chat.
1. CLICK THIS LINK:

2. Request a call back
If you are located outside of US or Canada then you will need to use the Chat option or Social Media
3. Or you can also contact customer service by sending a PRIVATE message on social media. Customer service verifies your identity before responding.

No, they were 1.25 and 1.75 for a total of $3. I feel like they're hiding the shipping by just calling it something else.

@drhod_32 The only other thing I can think of for an additional charge would be for something your state adds on, hazardous item fee, recycling fees, etc . I have no idea where you're located are what the items are though.
You can check the state fee sections on this page>>

Otherwise my previous advice still applies to contact CS.
