Seller raises price - is Buyer's cart automatically adjusted higher?

If a Buyer has an item in his cart, but hasn't yet bought it, and I (as the Seller) raise the price, is buyer's cart automatically adjusted higher? And are they notified of the change?  (For example: When a price is changed in an Amazon cart, I get a notification in the cart that says: "price adjusted, with old and new price and date.") Thanks!

If a buyer has not requested a total, then they have not committed to purchase the item in their cart - so the price would change.

I do not know if eBay has an alert for the price change.  I've never left anything sitting in my cart for even a day 🙂
