Seller doesn’t accept returns but item i bought doesn’t fit. Now what?

I tried to request a return on a pair of shoes i recently bought. The size was listed in the seller’s listing but the width of the shoe was not, i.e. Medium, wide, extra wide, narrow, etc. However, I did ask the seller if they were a wide or medium shoe and he replied back that they looked narrow. I took a chance and bought the shoes thinking they would fit. They arrived and they did not fit. The seller was not willing to accept any returns and now i am stuck with a pair of shoes that don’t fit me and i can’t use. What can i do? I just want my $$ back. I shouldn’t have to hassle with trying to sell them.
