Did you mean:

Returns without a valid reason.

A buyer claims my item was “not as described” but had no proof. They never asked questions or additional info before buying and now they claim it’s not what they wanted! I spent extra money insuring the package for the full value (jewelry) and now they want to return it! eBay seems to allow a lot of “buyer’s remorse” type of people to return items and as sellers this is very unfair….unless grossly misrepresented by a seller items this should not be allowed…any similar experiences? Any advice?

Returns without a valid reason.

Buyers do not have to provide proof that an item is not as described, though eBay may request an image.

eBay has no way to determine whether an item was described correctly or not, so eBay will side with the buyer on a "not as described" claim.

Accept the return if you want the item back and then refund the buyer when it arrives. Or refund immediately without the return.

Returns without a valid reason.

Ebay never see's the item you shipped and they don't if it's as you described it or not.

They want to keep buyers happy and coming back so they can spend their money and they'll always take the buyers side.

Have a great day
