Returned by USPS

The USPS returned the shipped item because it was unable to deliver it & there was no forwarding address. I sent a message to the buyer but have not received a reply. What is my next step?

Buyers are often not at their computers as often as sellers are.  So give them time.  If they don't answer by tomorrow send them another email.  Wait a few days.  If they still don't respond refund the buyer their money less any costs you can't recover and cancel the transaction.  Send the buyer another email outlining what you did and why.

Make sure to choose the "problems with address" reason to cancel and refund so you don't get a defect.
