Refund for Return of items they didn't order

the buyer received the item they ordered, along with 2 items someone else ordered. I accidentally printed the same label 3 times instead of 3 different labels. They initiated a return so that I could send them a return label to get the other items back to their correct buyer. Now ebay expects me to issue them a refund. They are not needing a refund and the buyer even stated as much. How do I resolve this? Ebay has put the funds on hold and is expecting me to refund them and that is the only option being given to me
