is it permissible to contact a seller to relist an item that didn't sell?

If seller's item ends and doesn't sell, is it permissible to contact the seller and ask them to relist it?  Thanks.

Sure, there's no harm in asking.  You can use the "Ask a question" link at the bottom of the listing.  The seller would probably appreciate if you include the listing title and/or number. And be sure to use the word "relist" , because there are bots that overreact when they think that somebody wants to do an off-eBay transaction.
